Born & raised in Washington, DC, and one of thirteen children, Jude was taught the value of work and the importance of personal dedication. After graduating from the University of Maryland in 1981 with her Business Degree, Jude moved to Islamorada where she has worked, married, and raised her children. With this, Jude is able to share information on other important aspects of living in the Keys including sports, schools, entertainment, boating, fishing, diving, and other facets of our special lifestyle.
Jude’s husband Brian was born and raised in Islamorada. The Lindback family moved to Islamorada in 1955 where they purchased and built Lindback’s LaSiesta Resort. For over 50 years, the Lindback family ran their family resort while being raised on the property before they sold it in 2006. Since then, the Lindback family has purchased and currently owns the iconic Lorelei Restaurant and Bar in Islamorada where most Locals along with Visitors go to watch our majestic sunsets while sipping on a cocktail and enjoying great local food. Islamorada has been home to her family since 1955 and will be for many years to come.
