Biography of Andy Birrell

I am the kind of person that believes in happiness and knowing what brings me happiness is the key to success, both personally and professionally. Specialization 

I do not attempt to sell everything that comes my way. I know that to be successful in selling a property you must be focused on its unique details and the follow up of its potential buyers. My main focus is on the Island of Key West and I have a long-term client base that has both residential and commercial real estate here so I can speak both languages. Also, because I am an avid boater (lived on one for 3.5 years in Key West), my passion for water and waterfront properties resonates through my communication and awareness of any waterfront opportunities on our wonderful Island community; marinas, canal front, water views, are us!

Education

I have a 4-year Bachelor of Business Management degree from Northwood Institute of Midland MI. Northwood Institute is known for its focus on high finance, economics, and big business strategies and attracts students from all over the world as well as major corporations like Dow Chemical, General Motors, Ford Motor (to name a few) who pull from the schools’ student body to fulfill their employment needs. The knowledge I gleaned from an association with top, entrepreneurial masters of business in our country, has given me the ability to think out of the box.

Community Involvement

Maintain Captains License since 1996; 2001 Board of Dir. Oceanside Marina; 2002-2004 Member Key West Sail & Powerboat Member; 2004-2006 Board of Dir. Galleria Condos; Wesley House Silent Auction contributor/helper.

2019 Chairman's Circle Gold, 2018 & 2017 President's Circle, 2016-2015-2014 Leading Edge Society, 2011 President's Circle, 2009 Leading Edge Society, 2009 & 2008 Top Producer.

Due to my business education in college and my experience of being the General Manager of a successful Ford & Mercury dealership for almost 20 years, my unique, profound perspective is the lens that I look through while assessing a business opportunity. I think out of the box from an array of perspectives, while considering all the angles and maximizing components such as marketing, value add, efficiencies, and management. The ability to recognizing synergies is my specialty. I was 3rd generation in Sales & Marketing for my family's Ford & Mercury dealership.

Other Information

My wife and I came down to Key West just for the Millennium on our home "IMAGINE THIS" and invited all our friends to join us. We loved it so much that we took up roots and have never left.
